"Providing Friendly, Non-Technical Technical Assistance for Human-Types"

I have more than 28 years experience as an accomplished real estate broker, trainer, author, college instructor, and real estate industry automation analyst and consultant. I am a California native (100% Botox-free!), a life-long (so far) SoCal resident and graduate of the University of Southern California. After graduation from USC, I became a real estate broker and earned my GRI, a nationally recognized professional real estate designation, from the Graduate REALTORS® Institute of the California Association of REALTORS® (CAR).

I've taught classes on computer usage at the college level and served as a technical trainer for the Real Estate Television Network (RETN). Among my credits are numerous keynotes and technology presentations at state and national conventions for real estate industry associations and as technical advisor and coach to many top producing real estate and mortgage agents and teams.

As a member of the East Orange County Board of REALTORS®, California Association of REALTORS® (CAR), and NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® (NAR), I pioneered the use of sales automation strategies in real estate practice. I have served on the Computer Committees of the Realty Investment Association of California and CAR and am also the webmaster for several top producing real estate agent teams and organizations.

Upon joining the real estate profession in 1978, I enjoyed a highly successful career in sales and management of residential and income-producing properties. From 1985 to 1987, I also served as Computer Editor for California Real Estate magazine, the official trade publication of CAR. I continue to author articles on the practical use of computers in real estate practice.

In 1985, I started exploring the Internet and ways to expand communication paths using computers. I started his own online Bulletin Board system and served as a consultant on other bulletin board systems. When the World Wide Web was introduced, I authored and began teaching Web Design and E-mail classes, including at the college level. I also help moderate several Web technology and marketing discussion forums, bulletin boards and forums.

I currently serve as a coach to many top income-producing real estate teams across the United States, acting as an “offsite mentor.” I am the founder of The Burrell Group (who else was going to do it?) in Anaheim, California, which conducts both in-person seminars and online Webinars and training classes on the use of computers and technology for sales and business automation - and enjoyment.

I’m a big college sports fan and love attending sporting events at my alma mater, the University of Southern California, with family and friends. Nothing better than a tailgate party on Saturdays in the Fall! Go Trojans! In my spare time I also participate on several college sports forums.

According to the testimonials and feedback I receive, my sense of humor, dynamic presentation style, and real estate expertise have been enjoyed and appreciated by sales and business professionals nationwide.

I am also kind to (well-behaved) children and small animals. (But I'm allergic to cats so, "back off, kitty!")
